There's some basic guidelines if you want to keep somewhat original. Like, don't use the circle tool. There's generally been some themes with a few balls like Britain having a tophat + monocle, US with sunglasses but you can break 'em I guess. I'm not going to sit here and enforce some orthodoxy. It's meant to be silly in the end.
