Skyrim: Special Edition
Bernd 2021-12-02 17:42:12 ⋅ 2y No. 128806Why does only only 66,8% of the players on Steam have unlocked the first achievement "Unbound" in the game that requires you only to progress the game a little bit? And the other one at 57,3% that requires you to progress 3-5 minutes further and literally click yes on one of three stones right next to your path?

Less than 50% of players have reached level 5. Wtf. And less than 30% have done a quest where you join the Companions at the first town after doing 1 quest with them.

Why would you install mods before having finished playing the intro anyway?

I sincerely doubt someone would be interested in a Skyrim mod without playing Skyrim at all.

Based. Thank you Germany for both "Nehrim" and "Enderal". I was never aware that a Gothic-style game on the TES engine could be so compelling.

Are Special Edition achievements independent from the regular edition?
If so, then people probably bought the SE, booted the game, realized their mods don't work and alt+f4'd and uninstalled the game.

Imo the best way to play Bethesda games is to ignore the main quests etc, and just explore.
Bethesda games have some absolutely stellar hidden side quests.
Elder Scrolls games become so much more enjoyable if you just roam around, talking to random people in the Inn etc and just do the random sidequests. Some of those side quests have more effort put to them than most mainquests/guild quests.
In Oblivion for an example there is this random-ass town in middle of the wilderness to which no roads lead or anything. When you enter it, all the NPCs hate you for some reason and refuse to talk to you. But if you go to the same place at the night, you'll start to see some weird cult shit going on.
Only way to find this place is to find it at random or via some random ass side quest in a tavern.

Thats why you use Mod Organizer and its features to manually sort your load order.
Also reminder to start modding Skyrim again :DDDDD
