Look at this - its Indian rivers filled with industrial waste foam. You don't really hear much about it from the media.
But imagine if this was happening in China, imagine the headlines:
HOW CHINA KILLED ITS RIVERS
CHINESE WATER IS POISONED FOREVER, HERE IS WHAT THAT MEANS FOR ITS FUTURE AMBITION
CHINESE RIVERS TURNED WHITE, THE STORY OF THE INDUSTRIAL CATASTROPHE
HOW COMMUNISTS DESTROYED ANCIENT CHINESE RIVERS, THAT FLOWED CLEAN FOR MILLENIA
THE WHITE TIDE RISES, THE GRIM FUTURE OF CHINESE DRINKING SUPPLY
THE DRAGON THAT DROWNED IN FOAM, STORY OF COMMUNIST MISSMANAGMENT
HOW CHINA POISONS ITS RIVERS AND GLOBAL OCEAN
DEAD FISH EVERYWHERE, THE STORY OF ONE CHINESE RIVER PERFECTLY ILLUSTRATES EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH CCP

you are in no position to call people crazy, i've seen what you eat.

>>279795
>the headlines
So you're calling titles of some youtube videos from your recommendations made by people nobody ever heard about and watched only by their pityful friends and indexing bots "THE headlines"?

I've actually seen more than once the western media complain about India because of poor hygiene, Hindutva, caste system, etc.

>>279851
No, i am talking about titles of serious Western newspapers and magazines that set the status quo and the narrative of the discussion in the most of the Western World.
Only if they were to show photos from OP post from China, they would remove all smiles and apply grey filter more

In Soviet Union there were propaganda textbooks for journalists sent, to teach them what talking points to push and how to portray certain issues, what words use, in what light describe events.
Recently, Western journalist recieved the new textbook for propaganda about China, it contains several points
- China is declining, no future
- China is getting old, and sick
- China has no youth, and what youth they have have problem
These 3 points are ringing inside every news in current articles, curious, as if by checkbook. Thats how the consensus in the mind of population is built, whats important is to make people believe this, even if reality is much different.

>>279856
That's crazy, it's almost like those three things are true
Are you also worried that media report that grass is green and sky is blue? I wonder what playbook they use to write that...

>>279855
The headline in your picture is completely neutral though (despite being CNNish) and is nothing like your imagination in the original post. This headline would have been the same for any other country in the world. Even the picture they choose focuses on the gold medal and not on the covid cases surges.

>>279860
According to media the grass in China is never green - it is either grey or yellow, and the sky is never blue - its either black or grey.

>>279864
That would also be correct, as my cowörker who went there last month can confirm.

I hate niggers

>>279795
And the residents over there think the contaminated water cleanses/purifies them.

>>281852
It is not "contaminated water". It is holy water blessed by the power of cow dung. Pay more respect to this amazing culture.

Nice and clean

Imagine if you DON'T KNOW and visit India thinking you will try the local cuisine, broaden your cultural horizons, diversify your tastes.

>>283633
Perfect cuisine for cleaning your bowels.

>>279795
Yeah.

This is India today
can't see for 10 meters in front of you. Giant Taj Mahal disappears.
people can't breathe
if this would happen in China, you know how salivating certain groups of people would be, but they are silent about india, singing about how business should relocate from China into India, INTO THIS. Imagine changing comfortable office in Shanghai to this!

Looks like India is choosing the side
all their oil comes from arab world and Russia

>>293133
Can't imagine how worst it will be on sunday diwali when they start burning fireworks

luv me some Indian express where news like this could be side by side

>>279795
>But imagine if this was happening in China,
I don't have to imagine.

>>294132
Sure it happened, but not now when attitude of media changed drastically.

>>294147
>we forced the media to stop reporting it, therefore it no longer happens
lol, lmao even

>>294148
its not that hard to verify, there are still journalists from western media in China
you yourself can go there and take photos, local people also can take photos of those rivers and report on the enormous Chinese internet that has more users than USA and Europe has people, lol

Maybe China was taking measures against pollution and this helped to turn the tide
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxcQiFYKn1o

In China there is a clear pattern
>there is a problem, the problem may persist, then there is an outcry, coverage, but THEN there comes the SOLLUTION, in the form of new laws, measures, reforms
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHPk_11BHns
In USA the pattern is different.
There is a problem in USA, the problem persists, then there is no outcry, instead Americans change the language to make the problem go away, maybe they even legalize it, but usually they just change the language and avert attention of masses to some other insignificant issue. Americans can be drinking dirty tap water, but it wouldn't be TOP 1 problem on their schedule, instead their TOP 1 problem will be some Marvel Disney controversy
Look at this news report, how important it may be, but also look at the ways they cover it - they invent new words like forever chemicals, PFAS and NO MENTION of accountability, investigation, new laws, arrests and then they switch topic to some bullshit entertainment slop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVQdro-hEVU

of course this thread is initially about India, and they have no laws, no regulations, no conscience, no patterns other than shit shit shit shit, all they can do, the thought of "maybe we could stop shitting" doesn't even enter their mind even as they begin getting sick
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeUDtPsokRQ

>>294153
lol no
It's more like
<there is a problem, the problem may persist, first you're not allowed to talk about it not to disrupt harmoniousness, then there is coverage, outcry becomes publicly curated, but THEN politics steps in, in the form of new laws, measures, reforms, sets 5 years goals, things start moving somewhere, inevitably the goals are not reachable, so instead of admitting it was only partially fulfilled, you fake some statistics, shift the goalposts, gaslight everyone who's not happy with the end result, and then ban talking about the problem even more strictly because "it's already been solved, you must be american agent disrupting our harmonious rule"
see also: how china eliminated poverty recently, lol

>>294162
nah, what you describing is "pushing problems under the rug"
sooner or later the problems like that grow under the rug and you can't hide them, because they become too visible. Like you can't hide smog in the city for example and China was the capital of the most dirty air. But later China solved the problem of smog, everyone admits it even Western media.
And China did fight off poverty. The average salary in China increases, of which even Western punditc constantly say claiming that labour in China becomes too expensive, advocating need to move manufacturing to other actually poorer countries.

>>294165
>China has solved dirty air and not just swept it under the rug, we know that because the reporters write what they're allowed to
Lol, lmao even.

meanwhile while india rots inside, they continue to become more beligerent and even attempt to kill people abroad. first in Canada, now in USA

>>294187
reminds me of another country, but I can't quite put my finger on it... hmmmmmmmmm.....

>>294188
well i bet that other country is not paraded as some pacifist peacefull democratic beacon to show in contrast to china
imagine if China was doing this shit, with all their technology, and yet the only way China manages to kill foreigners is by allowing them to use Tiktok where later foreigners film themselvs killing themselves, or supposedly China sells some chemicals to Mexico, where they re-sell it to USA where Americans buy this shit on black market or in stores volunterally, without anyone forcing them and die of overdose, but somehow its China's fault
imagine if someone was drinking German beer in Russia, poisoned themselves with beer to death and then We would claim that ITS GERMANY WHO KILLED OUR BOY!

>>294194
yes but what about this imaginary bullshit scenario which hinges on a lot of fantasy bullshit i just made up? regards whataboutism pro
