Interesting, never heard before. They seem to sing a lot. Have to ponder on this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUwxKWT6m7U
rate my gayness out of 10

>>246044
Let's see, mass produced generic soulless pop music meant for young girls. I rate it gaysheep/10

>>246045
>soulless
wow easy there she has a lot of soul especially during the beginning of her career which that song was from
I agree some of her newer stuff, excluding her absolutely most recent album, were kinda soulless mainstream sheep stuff but that doesn't negate the fact that it was pretty good in the earlier stages
I'm not exactly a music expert or anything but I think it's pretty good

>>246047
Did she ever make her own stuff or was it always written by someone else? She is a product meant to sell by the record company. Just like all other pop stars, she is a hired performer who performs other peoples songs bought by her record company with a planned target audience and a planned career.

>>246047
You don't have to justify you in front of everybody. If you enjoy her music, so be it. Doesn't matter if Finnish music nerds agree.

>>246049
I think that during her early career she had a lot of influence over the songs she made, pretty sure she wrote them and maybe even produced part of it. Some artists are completely incapable of making anything and never write or produce anything, basically just singing with barely any influence and leave everything to the pros. I don't know for sure whether she still does, but I am pretty confident in the fact that in the beginning she was responsible for most of the music she made. She's actually pretty talented naturally, I think it was one of the main reasons why she got as famous as she did, she impressed a lot of people with her musical abilities, and still does. It's very difficult to know exactly how much mainstream artists contribute to the music that is made, but I would go as far as saying that most of them don't do a lot, but I don't think that applies to Taylor's entire career, I would say it went a bit back and forth, maybe she wrote most of the stuff but left the melodies to other people.

>>246049
>i-its not artistry if you don't write the songs yourself!!!!!
Dumbass position.
The greatest musician in my country (Vlado Kreslin) didn't write most of his songs. Instead he has a background songwriter (who plays the guitar in the backing band) who writes most of his songs for him. Does that make him any less genuine? No, because most of the ideas for the songs are still his. They're literally taken from his own and his family's life and history. Miro Tomassini is just the magician that turns them into final products.

>>246050
A self respecting adult needs to have some standards. Liking mass produced garbage that is meant to sell for low IQ masses and small children should be an alarming sign for oneself.
>>246052
If she does the music herself then it is fine and you should ignore my rambling, but I suggest you do some proper research on her.
>>246055
>Dumbass position.
Ironic, since you are the dumbass here. Do you find yourself to be an artist by singing Christmas carrols made by someone else?
>The greatest musician in my country (Vlado Kreslin) didn't write most of his songs.
The standards there seems to be very low. I'm sorry.

>>246056
<A self respecting adult needs to have some standards. Liking mass produced garbage that is meant to sell for low IQ masses and small children should be an alarming sign for oneself.
who gives a fuck, it's just a song that he listened to, not his career and lifestyle

>>246060
Oneself should give a fuck. Do you watch teletubbies too?

>>246056
My post is based on speculation alone, it's actually impossible to know exactly how much influence each artist have over the music they put out, it's a trade secret and it is kept that way intentionally so that there's more information left out and more for people to wonder about. That being said, however, I've been exposed to rumors that say that Taylor was a driving force behind the music that was put out under her name, and due to this, if she had a great amount of influence over it, then it wouldn't surprise me. I mean, she's not a regular artist and is considered an icon for many female fans out there, the entire legacy she has is based around the idea that she is a very capable person, and if she didn't write her own stuff or helped produce, then that reputation wouldn't have been genuine, which I think it is.
Certain artists live and breathe music, and have for all of their lives, while others just see it as a way of making money and don't really care that much about how much influence they have over their music, it varies quite a lot. Musical artists are very different from eachother, it's actually a pretty interesting topic to talk about because most people really don't know and some don't even care about that.

>>246061
what's the harm if it relaxes him?

Well, you can upload rips made with other programs as well, but generally you don't want to, because only with EAC you can make rips with 100% logs.

>>250179
Yeah.
Don't worry, I'll set it up properly first. Less worries that way.
I won't be at home over the weekend tho.
I understand I need to be active at least once in 120 days, right? There's no penalty if I take a wait first after joining?
I also have some interesting local stuff I will probably share eventually...

>>250185
>I understand I need to be active at least once in 120 days, right?
Yes. And no, there's no penalty, if you don't use your account immediately. Although it's probably best to snatch something rather sooner than later to show some activity (just keep an eye on your ratio).
>I also have some interesting local stuff I will probably share eventually...
Nice, I'm looking forward to that. I upload CD rips and Bandcamp purchases sometimes as well, it's fun sharing music and filling requests and such.

>>250186
Yeah. I noticed I get 5 gigs headstart. Which is cool.
Btw all this reminded me, I should probably go through my grandpa's old vinyl collection.

>>250188
People get very autistic about vinly rips as well lmao. I have done one of an obscure anime OP, but ripping vinyls is too much of a hassle to do it more often. I also sold my vinyl player again.

Guess I know what I will do for the rest 1,5 hours of wörk.

>>251512
My reasons for still going there: there are some individual Bernds I like, more posters=more activity, best IB engine and rarely there is a good thread, which I'll enjoy.
>It's nice, I watched it "live" on some holoscreen in 2016 in Hamburg.
Amazing!

>>251512
Btw did you manage to quit weed?

>>251525
I came to an understanding with myself.
No weed on training days which are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on Saturday I wait at least until 12pm with da first hit.
You may guess what I'll be doing today after wörk soon :3
Soberness doesn't comply with my strife for hedonism.
Also feeling sames with KC, there's still a few cherished pearls and the engine is leagues ahead of any other IB.
Really hoping that things calm down once the war ends and all those shills vanish, it's as if the winner is minted on the Kohledar front.

>>251531
>all those shills vanish
Oh, are you following the Ukraine war threads and is that your source for rage? Yes, the shilling is annoying, but I don't care for this kind of politics on KC.

>>251532
Not really anymore, my source of enragement is the overall subversion of minds that is going on there as a side effect.
And now there's that Baltic Bernd posting his uBlock list with Austria included due to that gyppo shill.
Literally /pol/, just with more 3D loli.
Then again, all those 4chan and 8chan refuggers probably won't ever go away anymore.

>>251535

You were too slow to uBlock him first :^)

what's wrong with going alone?

>>252184
Life for a man is not as easy as for a woman

>>252187
I'd argue that when it comes to going places alone it's worse for women since they have to watch out for creeps

"creep" is a cringy feminist buzzword

Men should stop worrying about how they might be perceived by women. Just rape.

It's like men are one nation and women are a different nation. To each their own culture.

>>252190
Getting to know people is the whole point of a party

Women's culture is a vaginal culture. Men should not concern themselves with women's sensibilities.

What are your favorite albums (besides anything by Daughter)? What are your favorite playlists (besides the ones you already mentioned itt, like calm delivery etc.)? I think, our music taste is very similar. At least in our shared playlist there are quite some songs we both listen to.

>>257164
hey, I never said I liked that calm delivery playlist (also, I don't know how music is supposed to calm anyone who's trying to push a human out of their vagina)
I don't really listen to playlists made by Spotify, with an exception of daily mixes (and our shared playlist); recently I've been mostly listening to songs from my favorites and two playlists that are visible on my profile (the 90s one contains all my favorite grunge (or grunge-related) songs but it's still work in progress)
as for my favorite albums, I skimed over my spotify and here's a list (it's not complete but I kind of feel like I already went overboard), it's sorted by release year
what are your favorites?
Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours (yes, yes, I know)
The Clash - London Calling
Black Sabbath - Heaven & Hell
Temple Of The Dog - self-titled
Nirvana’s whole discography (I like MTV Unplugged the most)
Pearl Jam’s whole discography (Ten’s my favorite though and Binaural is a close second)
Alice In Chains - Dirt
Slowdive - Souvlaki
The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Alice In Chains - Jar Of Flies
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley
Pink Floyd - The Division Bell
Sigur Rós - ()
Explosions In The Sky - The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place
Elsiane - Hybrid
EA Games Soundtrack - The Sims (Original Soundtrack) (mostly nostalgic value)
Eddie Vedder - Into The Wild
Black Mountain - IV
CLANN - Seelie
Wolf Alice - Visions Of A Life
Flower Face - Baby Teeth
Ghostly Kisses - Alone Together
Myrkur - Folkensange
Dream Sounds - Secret Worlds
WYS, Sweet Medicine - The Way Back
Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend Tour Version (there’s also a lullaby version, both are good but today I feel like listening to this one)
God Is An Astronaut - Somnia

>>257195
Some albums I could think of, I probably forgot some, but it’s a selection at least. Some of your choices are very good as well.

Los Natas - Ciudad de Brahman
Radiohead - In Rainbows (as well as most of their other stuff)

Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children (as well as their other albums)
Gregory Porter - Take Me To The Alley
Suzanne Vega - Solitude Standing
Kool Keith - Time? Astonishing!
Spinvis - Spinvis
Chinese Football - Chinese Football

Your opinion on this?

>>276540
I've been listening to this playlist at work today and I'm almost finished. It's really weird, because it evokes a sort of nostalgic feeling in me and listening to this feels like waiting at a train station at night in the middle of summer, with metalic-smelling air, and sketchy people walking around. It was also kind of surprising to see some of these songs are fairly recent (or maybe release dates on Spotify aren't accurate).
With all that said, I haven't heard most of these songs before, and it definitely is an interesting find, so thank you for that.
What do you think about this playlist?

>>276592
It has some gems, but the majority I didn’t like that much. The playlist was curated by members of the band Nürnberg btw, you can find more post punk playlists on their Spotify profile (https://open.spotify.com/artist/2IkTGThCeQAPGMru4uXzs4?si=VZ9fP9CpRvWR3xuAzQ3ZJg). Just scroll down to artist playlists.

I feel like shared playlists are not my thing.
I'm autistic in a way that I listen exclusively to certain bands until I get so sick of them that I'm forced to get used to another band that I can exclusively listen to and the cycle repeats. I'm just not interested in a mixes of different bands. At the same time I feel bad if my contribution to the playlist are always the same things.
Remember that even if I might leave the playlist the two of you will continue so live on with me right in my meow meow.

The beats in both songs are pure kino, I don't get why you call it trap?

>>298669
For me anything that lacks flow is trap.
Compare how nice old K.I.Z. flowed compared to nu-K.I.Z.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DouXF71eIR4
Imho trap got popularized because the drugged-up nu-rappers are too stoned and lazy to rap properly. All they can do is slowly say a line every one in a while.
