I can't stand the websites I used to frequent anymore.
Reddit:
>Soy discussion about the most retarded topics. Nothing fun, get banned for the most milquetoast takes.
4chan:
>Everyone is a retarded zoomer and an insane Nazi at the same time. The fitness board is full of retarded stuff like worrying the covid vaccine will give you a prion disease, you have to eat at least 500 grams of protein a day, etc. No real advice about lifting. Just spouting 10 year old memes and insulting everyone who doesn't. Right wing extremist topics are shoehorned into everything. The fashion board is basically just "how do I dress like a fascist/heroin addict/terrorist" and the outdoors board is 50% about saying how much you hate niggers.
Kohlchan
>After having a nice serious discussion in one thread I go to the catalog and some Argentinian asks about where to find baby porn. A day later this thread is still up. I can't take this anymore.

Should I just quit the internet?

Make your own Imageboard/forum.

>>113422
I'm not a codemonkey...

>>113423
Can't be that hard.

i've encountered quite a few bernds over on the fediverse; though it took me a while to lurk and find a comfy place; let alone find out where all the bernds were

You need more hobbies. I've quit the internet numerous times and it was a blast after resetting my mind to a non-internet life.

>>113427
I think I'll try to do that.
My main problem is that I'm working at my desk and when I take a break the temptation is there to quickly check kc/reddit/whatever.

>>113430
If I worked a based desk herb, my main time sink would be Tetris and searching up new musak.

>>113427
What hobby can I get into

>>113431
Is "musak" just an alternative spelling of music or something else?

>>113442
I'm stupid and retarded and can't think for meself

>>113448
Hiking is cheap and affordable. It also disinfects your mind if you stay away from your phone and the internet while on your trek.
Music is never a bad option. It can expand your memory and learning new chords and scales is never ending, meaning there are endless possible combinations.
Writing, painting, driving, I don't know, Bernd. You gotta learn to think for yourself first. That's your first step and I hope you can do something about your crummy confidence before it defeats every morsel in your body.

>>113448
Something physical that is good for your health: Hiking has been suggested and I concur.
Something for your brain: Read. There are plenty of topics and if you're not used to reading I unironically recommend comic books to start train your reading muscles. Maybe you have a public library near you, so it won't be expensive. (I recommend reading physical books, not on computer.)
Learning how to cook is also always good and can be fun.

the tide will turn eventually and the internet will rise again

>>113456
>learning how to cook
Bernd starved within an days.

I feel this
Had this board 10x its normal userbase I'd love spending my time here more.

>>113464
Slow boards are great but I agree that it protrudes any mumblings of a specific poster.

>>113476
It also defeats the idea of anonymity for countryballs with just one poster.

>>113480
That goes without saying. I'm fuggered if any gubmint starts datamining my mundane posts.

>>113480
welcome to my posting experience on just about any board with countryballs/flags that isn't 4chan

>>113491
Tbh you could be more anonymous if you didn't actively participate in creating an imageboard persona, posting selfies, nudes, iwos, private info of your life, etc.

>>113422
As an anon who has tried to run a few imageboards that never got up, it isn't worth it unless you have a very specific niche to cover.

>>113420
>Should I just quit the internet?
Just take liek a 1-3 week break and come back. You'll feel the energy back inside you again **also, don't go to 4kanker or kohl for obvious reasons**

>>113604
I have been on longer vacation before.
Once I returned I got excited about all the stuff I missed on the internet but in the end I caught up in a hour or two and it get boring again.

>>113480
can't cloak yourself amongst other Deutschposters anymore eh? now you feel the suffering of low poster countries!
