What's your favorite language in the world?

Japanese or French

If I could choose a language to know without having to study it would likely be Arabic though. Or Persian.

Persian because I am really interested in Iran but Arabic has a lot more speakers so I might choose it instead.

What about you?

I guess I would go with Romanian. It is the only heterosexual romance language.

Africaans - sounds like rudest pirate swearings

Russian - learning it makes you smarter, and the swears can't be beat.

>>136853
chinese is the best language for swearing

>>136820
Mine is English!

Romani. Fuck written language!

Esperanto.

No weeb but japanese

Voted for shitpost of the month

I used to think French is girly and all that but now I really like it.

>>136820
Basque (Euskara).
It is the only "true" European language left and the Spaniards tried to destroy it
I*do-e*ropeans are foreign pajeets who invaded Europe and destroyed the native languages

Pretoguese
>>136859
absolutely shit tier

>>136880
Speak for yourself, Naj te koklja brcne!

>>136844
English, is just a grey language, nothing sounds too good or too bad, but it still sounds natural, I like that it sounds so boring but without being annoying, is just comfy I guess.

>>136909

>>137021

>>137046

>>137053
I think you meant to say Spanish

I like Spanish because it's a straightforward, no bullshit language where each word is spelled exactly as it sounds. Also I like it because I can speak it.

>>137056
ok Pablo

Spainish to express the suffering.

>>137056
t. probably can't tell the difference between words spelled with gue and güe in spanish

>>136854
true

>>137057
what's wrong with hispanic heritage?
>>137074
I can. Why the hate?
Gue sounds like "geh"; Guerrero -> geh - rreh - oh
Güe sounds like "gweh"; ungüento -> un - gwen - toh
The only thing I can't do is roll my R's unfortunately. I've been trying all my life and I simply can't, feelsbadman because it's such a beautiful sound.

Hogy az anyád redves pináját bassza ketté a féreg zabálta kékeres faszú rothadó ördög, te hugyagyú büdösszájú mocskos kis szartúró tapló. Te gecizabáló buzi, akit a kivénhedt seggberakott anyja fosott erre a nyomorult sárgolyóra. Fikazabáló tetüláda te.
And these are fully intelligible sentences, not just random profanities listed one after another. Good luck googling it tho.

There is only one correct answer

I must say, I love our neighbors on the other side of ze channel, but that man right there and his giant balls are probably the 3 reasons why to this day everyone I talk to thinks they will be eviscerated if they are caught trying to communicate in english in France...

I enjoy learning Bahasa because it's very straightforward and an easy language to learn. Lots of elements from Portuguese, Dutch, and English.
I like French but the grammar and conjugations can be challenging.

My opinion about languages:
Russian, and all slavic - have very high literature potential, but have too hard phonetics, it cause problems to many people with medical defects of articulation apparatus and speech neural system Also, another problem is that it requiers a lot of letters in alphabeth, so it is harder to use computers.
English - easiest language, also usable, but it has very very low literature potential, its impossible to transfer full gamma of emotions with this.
Deutch - all same with english, but a little harder and a little more expressive, but, also with broken phoenetics.
I stand for esperanto - it has the best components from russian expression abilities with the usability of germanic languages.

>>138782
>but it has very very low literature potential, its impossible to transfer full gamma of emotions with this.
but you can

>>136820
finnish is very pleasing to my ears

>>138913
Yes yes, maby you just dont know how is it to be possible to form a hudred same-root swearing only fron one word. For example i have just wrote the short story using the word "huy". And we actually speak like this.

>>138982
English has the opposite; instead there's dozens of roots for nuances of the same word.
In the end this is just the difference between inflectional (Russian) and syntactical (English) grammar.

>>138983
>English has the opposite; instead there's dozens of roots for nuances of the same word.
Can you make an example please. As far as i know, they, in the opposite, have a lot of meanings for the one single root.
But anyway without all these slavic word-constructional ending suffixes etc, the language looks weak.

>>138985
Compare this with your хуй.

>>138986
>slang slang slang slang
Pfff. As if in any other language a person can`t call the penis with the word "cigar".

>>138982
Typical case of "my language is best" because you don't even know others well enough to be able to compare unbiased.
Try googling what language has the most swear words and you will find people from all over the world claiming it to be their mother tongue.
Btw my guess is that **Chinese** has by far the most options to swear.

>>138988
Mein lieben Freind, ich lernt deutchen und english sprachen in der Shule. As far as you can see, i have some idea what i am talking about. Not sure about you btw.

>>138989
И я тоже немного выучил русский язык.
You saying some idea just confirms my thesis, because SOME knowledge is all you have.
I also have some knowledge about Russian. To me it is a very barbaric language. You often just use imperative forms alone without any kind of please and your way of swearing is very low down and overused in everyday speach.
Did you know that language shapes our personality? I'm not sure why you are proud of making sentences where every word contains dick.
What I am trying to say is that I suck hard at Russian so I can not compare it with my language. And neither can you, deal with it.

>>138988
>my guess is that **Chinese** has by far the most options to swear.
gotta agree tbh mainly because **Chinese is effectively at least about a dozen languages and each of them has its own tradition of swearing**

>>138991
god I wish I'd speak Chinese but I lack the time and confidence to learn it. I don't think my ears can ever get used to the different tones.

btw this reminded me, Quebecois has a very ebin way of swearing
effectively you use as many church words as possible to reinforce the meaning of regular swear words.
Osti de crisse de sacrement de tabarnak!

>>136820
Romanian, then Latin

>>138990
> To me it is a very barbaric language
lol, butthurt german. The fact is that all your germanic shit can be translated to russian, but only a dozens of percent of russian speech can be translated to yours primitive language, without losing emotional sence.

>>138993
>church words
We do that too. Most are out of fashion, but the sacrament thing is still used, now usually in Hungarian (a szentségit), but back then they used szakramentumát. Sometimes even the "blesser" (az áldóját) as well even today.
Someone should make a book about Hungarian swearing. We even have such things that are rooted in the pagan past and folk tales and the noted "church words", liek:
>a hétfánfütyülő rézangyalát
Which means: "the copper angel whistling on the seven trees".
Today this isn't used as average profanity ofc, but was in the past and remained as a playful saying or part of the tales, jokes.
But even averages profanities has more soul that 90% of foreigners (Indos) use.
Couple of popular curses:
- isten faszát! = god's cock! (check the truck driver here: >>137396);
- menj a halál faszára = go to the death's cock (essentially the Ruski nahui thing, but better);
- az anyja köcsögit! = his mother's crockery (köcsög/crokery means fag, especially the passive one);
- szopósszájú ribanc = whore with cocksucking mouth ("you whore with cocksucking mouth!" - and this isn't used as a comliment in this cotext ofc);
etc etc. I could sit here till dusk and typing.

>>139000
its dont

>>139002
give me an example

>>139000
I kinda agree. Language creates mindset and if it's simple you have simple mind and low iq
What beautiful can you hear in German?
"Schpigeldrstrasse meinung halt russe schwein"
What beautiful can you hear in english
"I eat shit at 3 o'clock. The shit was not tasty"
and believe me, I tried to read english books, such as classics "over the catcher in the rye" and other shit it's impossible to read, there is no deepness, there is no light shades of emotions, no soul. There was only Tom SOYer that was funny but it's simp[le book for kids.

>>139005
Also "Game of thrones" was literally "Lord N1 raped Lord N2, it was intense and scarry" GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT

>>139005
same with music
when you listen european classics it's like soulles neural net, there are few works that really have soul
when you listen russian classic music (and even soviet "neoclassic" such as Sviridov's works) it's deep and not even every wecterner can understand it.

>>139003
why don't you give an example if you state a fact

>>139010
to understand the example you must speak russian language since child

>>139011
no proof = no truth

>>139005
just an assumption - but could it be that you simply don't get the deepness from english texts because you don't speak english since childhood?

>>139013
absolutely not, I can understand what is deep and what is not
ur mum

joke
>>139014
interesting
I wish to understand the deepness of Russian one day then.

>>139001
Here in Slovenia krščenduš and krucifiks are still common. Also you add Ježešmarija at the start of sentence if you want to stress what's being said more.

>>139005
>such as classics "over the catcher in the rye"
Which was written in notoriously base slang of the time. That the vocabulary is shallow has been a common criticism of the book since it was first published.
