So imagine you have a room like that. You are only using 1/3 of the space in that room most of the time, because most of the time you are not using the higher volume of the room.
So what if we just place 2 more floor layers in that room and turn one room into 3 floor rooms? Of course there will be less space for standing, but you can just move on your crouching position and sleep in those rooms, or use computer, or just lie down. Basically you can tripple your living space.

kinda like that but with solid floor

Or, you could just get a bigger room and live like an actual bipedal human being

dude, i can't even reach my ceiling. All that volume is not used. And i spend a lot of time sleeping, sitting.
i could even run 3 new walls inside that small volume, make miniature ladders, like a total labyrinth with small rooms, their own light, individual design....

I could probably separate my flat into 6 rooms of this size and have little Japanese girls pay rent and live there next to me

It's used by air that you breathe in

i have a window

My ceiling is 4m and I actually did that. I put in a 2nd floor.
Lightweight wood construction, bolted to the walls.
Bit like a loft I suppose.
