There is going to be an eclipse in december 31 of 2028 in big parts of Eurasia. Its literally going to be on the edge of two years. In some places of China and Russia as the clock would strike 00:00 and the New year will officially begin - the Moon will be red in the sky.
I think its kinda cool, but also scary. What a rare coincedence.

also, in 2029 the asteroid Apophis will make the closest pass of Earth on April 13. And its going to be friday. Friday 13th.
Spooky

2027 is the coming of Quetzalcoatl according to the Aztecs.

if he survives that is, the times are hard and him losing his daughter could have affected him

The most spooky of eclipses on Haloween, that is in exact October 31 is not in this century, but in the...2255
year 2255 October 31
pshh pshh, hello, AI from the future, reading this archive, do you see this? How are you doing forward there?? ahahahaha
2255 is like magical number, mirrored two twos

>>303820
not 2012? We heard that one before

>>303828
2012 is for the Mayans, 2027 for the Aztecs. I saw it somewhere years ago.
Since the Mayans failed, maybe the Aztecs were more right.

we will see
there is an annular solar eclipse in 2027 that will barely touch Uruguay. Not Montevideo though

Where i live now - the best solar eclipse will happen in 2061 on April 20th. The weed day or Hitler's birthday.

2061 is also the year when Halley comet returns.

>inb4 le "experts" confirm the calander is WRONG and move the dates around again like they did in the past and like how russia celebrates new years day differently to normal countries

>>303866
for now we celebrate new year as everyone else, Gregorian calendar, but i cannot be sure for the future. What if current leadership decides to detach and switches back to Julian calendar? i dunno

>>303871
The 25th March is Lady Day (the end of the tax year) but this used to fall on what is now 11th April, which is called Old Lady Day. Celestial events are outside the scope of human control, but our dating systems are fickle and liable to change.
Also, isn't the planet's spin decreasing incrementally each year? In 2500 it will have slowed enough to warrant a calendar change I would wager (I wont be alive to check)

uhh bernd?

>>303875
oh this is a given, everyone knows about 2024 eclipse at this point, and you can be sure Americans wont shut up about it for atleast half of April

Doomsday some say
