Circumnavigating the Milky Way galaxy in a space shuttle

Did I calculate correctly? I calculated that it would probably take the same amount of time to circumnavigate in any space shuttle (at its fastest) the Milky Way galaxy as the amount of time that this galaxy has been around for (which appears to be almost as old as the Universe itself). Also probably about the same amount of time to reach the Andromeda galaxy assuming that it doesn't get to us first (in over 10,000,000,000 years if I remember correctly). I also realized that "Milky Way galaxy" is a bit redundant. I mean, 'cause, like, "galaxy" just means "milk" so saying "the Milky Way galaxy" is like saying "the milky way to the milky way" by mixing Latin and Greek names/words, I think. No?
