It feels as if it was just yesterday that the writers claimed that the rumors of Stargate SG-1 getting cancelled were only just rumors and that there was still too much of the series left unexplored. Then a few months later--it was done! And they were like, "oh, it had its run." It was the longest-running scifi series at the time. But now--other scifi series has them beat! Even the new Doctor Who beat Stargate!
